Arizona has the green now.

On November 14th Arizona passed a law stating it is legal to use medical Marjuana.  The law just passed with a margin of about 4,300 votes.  Patients who are qualified are limited to cancer, AIDS, and other illnesses.  Their doctor has to have a prescription in order for the weed to be released to the patient.  The government of Arizona feels the need to give only the seriously ill people marijuana to ease the pain if the patients find the relief in it.  But in my opinion I think this small privilege will snowball into further use by people who aren't "seriously ill."  But I think recreational use will slowly but surely take over in the United States, but with strict rules.
